Julia Miller

Julia Miller is the founder and creative director of Yond Interiors, an interior design studio nestled in Minneapolis, serving clients nationwide. Before life in interiors, Julia was a clinical social worker but made the pivot after recognizing a deep interest and love for design. Julia is also the co-founder of Brunel, a custom furniture shop dedicated to craftsmanship and the pursuit of the perfect piece.

Yond Interiors is known for a wide portfolio of work featuring people and place specific design. Julia has been recognized in House Beautiful’s Next Wave and The Expert Top 40. The work and ethos of Yond have been featured in nationwide publications, including Architectural Digest, The Wall Street Journal, RUE, and Sunset.

As a self-taught designer, Julia believes in the power of shared knowledge and open dialogue within the industry. The Studio Table is her way of sharing the systems and processes that have shaped Yond Interiors, and creating space for fellow designers to refine their own practice.
